WW vet back to the gridiron

Ok, so it’s been a while since I attended Weight Watchers. Back in the day (I think around 2004 or ‘05) I managed to lose close to 60 pounds! Now here in 2010 some, not all of it is back. Do I dare talk to the world about losing weight again, sure why not! We’ve started a new program at the U called ‘Shape up the Nation’. I am a bit apprehensive due to the cost, basically for the right and privilege to have a team and share workout times and things. I guess it keeps you on track, similar to that of Weight Watchers which proved to be very successful for me. My question to those of you that have never had problems with weight management, do you have to think about watching what you eat every time you eat? Even when I was in WW, it is almost an obsession to stay on track. I really equate it with addiction, but in this case the one thing that is the vice is required by the body to live, hum what a bummer! Anyway, my goal is to drop 10% of my weight by March. Shooting for the sky I would love to lose 20% by the end of May!

A shout out to Amy and Andy, do you guys have a set schedule you are going to try to make it to the Y. I’d love to join, we’ve been trying to make it a couple nights a week and maybe a weekend day here and there? What do ya say?

Sorry…I just read your blog tonight. Ummm….Andy is going to the Y on Tuesdays and Thursdays and working out while Tyler takes his class. That is at the Northeast Y since Tyler couldn’t get the weight training class done until April at the Fallbrook Y. I haven’t even tried yet. Terrible, terrible! Okay, I tried going to the cycling class, but it was full and I had to go away empty handed. I’m thinking next Friday, though! We need to get moving…or at least I do.
